St. Simons Then & Now: Historical Drawings by Vincent McCollum

June 16, 2012 – June 30, 2012

In this new exhibit, curator, Dayna Caldwell will feature never-before-seen, large, colorful drawings by local artist Vincent McCollum which were commissioned to be dioramas for Fort Frederica. Part of the Robert G. Wilcox Private Collection these drawings depict life on St. Simons Island before settlement by the British to the present day. This exhibit will be on display through the end of June.

This special exhibit will take place at the Mildred Huie Museum at Mediterranean House.
