Comer Jennings "The Flowers of Springtime": May 1, 2008 – May 31, 2008
Noted Atlanta artist Comer Jennings will present recent paintings depicting the beauty of springtime in the South. Jennings is one of the feature artists of the Tabby and Tillandsia Garden Walk Weekend presented by the Cassina Garden Club of St. Simons Island. While Jennings is an accomplished portrait artist who has painted some of the country's most prominent citizens, including Jimmy Carter, he is also well known for his signature still life and floral paintings. His bold images capture the vibrancy of nature while highlighting the beauty of local flora and fauna.
Join us in welcoming Comer Jennings at an opening reception Wednesday, April 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. His work will be available for viewing thru Thursday, May 31st.
